•  Exceptional quality white porcelain is lavishly hand painted with  gold laurel wreath border and large pink roses and green leaves

• The mark on back features a lion with a crown and flag suggesting either staffordshire or bavarian makers

• Richard Briggs was an importer of the finest tableware in the late 1800's to early 1900's

• Each measuring 9 1/2", versatile size  perfect for a luncheon or large desert plates 

• There is some minor wear to the gold outer border of a couple of the plates, that said they are bold and stunningly beautiful
